With the warm weather continuing 🌞 and more people enjoying our forests, parks, and open spaces 🌳🐦, it’s great to see the community out and about 💚

We’re asking everyone in the Forest Beat area to help keep these spaces safe and enjoyable for all 👇

🚫 No fires or BBQs in woodland areas – dry conditions mean fires can spread quickly 🔥🌲
🚫 Avoid swimming in lakes, rivers, or unknown waters – they may look inviting 💦 but can be very dangerous 🥶⚠️

✅ Safer alternatives to stay cool:
🏊‍♀️ Visit supervised swimming pools or leisure centres
💦 Use splash parks or paddling areas designed for families
🌳 Relax in shaded areas and keep hydrated 🧴🥤
👕 Wear light clothing and take breaks from the sun

💧 Water safety reminders:
🌊 Cold water shock can affect even strong swimmers 🥶
🚫 Hidden hazards like debris, weeds, and strong currents ⚠️
👀 Keep an eye on children at all times around water
